Circus school hold first ever gala

The inaugural gala for the Circadium School of Contemporary Circus was held Nov. 4.  The much anticipated gala had over 200 guests, including over 40 volunteer artists.  The sold out event held in West Mt. Airy, at 6440 Green Street, included performances by aerialists, acrobats, jugglers and more to entertain the guests.

Cause-driven gala benefits cancer research

The Friends of the AACR Foundation hosted a “Party with a Purpose” at the Hyatt Penns Landing. The gala benefitted the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) with this years funds designated to fight Ovarian Cancer. This year’s honorees were Dan and Sarah Keating, and Dr. Gina Mantia-Smaldone.

Halloween cancer research fundraiser is full of surprises

Philadelphia Eagle Rodney McLeod hosted a Halloween Ping Pong-A-Palooza Fundraiser at SPiN Philly ping pong club. The event benefitted the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation. Philadelphia Theatre Company Season Opens

Powerful play celebrates Philly premiere

The Philadelphia Theatre Company celebrated the opening of their theater season with the Philadelphia premiere of “Wrestling Jerusalem.” The one-man play, written and performed by Aaron Davidman, runs through Nov. 5 at the Suzanne Roberts Theater. Guests at the opening reception enjoyed light bites and cocktails, while enjoying the opportunity to meet the artist and ask questions about the show.
