Presidential City Renovations Are Complete

Architect joins cocktail celebration

The Post Brothers hosted a cocktail party to toast architect, interior designer and furnishing designer Philippe Maidenberg. The Paris-based designer has just completed his first project in the United States, The Adams Building at historic Presidential City. Christmas Village returned to Love Park after a move to City Hall last year due to the park's renovation. Christmas Village is open every day through Christmas Eve and features 100 vendors from around the world.

PAFA Wine Event is Impressive

Annual fundraiser benefits students and the community.

The 19th Annual Bacchanal Wine Gala & Auction took place Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017. Bacchanal is the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts’ flagship wine affair. The event was attended by over 350 wine and art lovers and raises over $500,000 annually to support PAFA student scholarships and community education programs.

Circus school hold first ever gala

The inaugural gala for the Circadium School of Contemporary Circus was held Nov. 4.  The much anticipated gala had over 200 guests, including over 40 volunteer artists.  The sold out event held in West Mt. Airy, at 6440 Green Street, included performances by aerialists, acrobats, jugglers and more to entertain the guests.

Powerful play celebrates Philly premiere

The Philadelphia Theatre Company celebrated the opening of their theater season with the Philadelphia premiere of “Wrestling Jerusalem.” The one-man play, written and performed by Aaron Davidman, runs through Nov. 5 at the Suzanne Roberts Theater.
